I started introducing Zayn to playhouses when he was around two years old because I wanted him to know how to interact with the other kids. This is primarily because he has no playmates as he is the only baby in our family compound as of the moment. I have to say that that this played quite a significant factor to Zayn's development as a child. We have been to numerous playhouses and playgrounds and just like traveling, I am always on the lookout of new playhouses I can let Zayn try. And just recently, I discovered Playnation in Ayala Center Cebu.
We went to Playnation on a weekend around lunch time and thankfully there weren't a lot of people. We paid Php 250 which is good for 1 hour playtime inclusive of one guardian. We paid another Php 50 for an additional guardian. What I like about Playnation is that kids are not required to wear long sleeved shirts which I still don't quite get anyway.
Another thing I liked about Playnation is the ambiance. The overall white and blue atmosphere really caught my attention that there's no reason you can't spot this place when you're strolling around Ayala Center Cebu's new wing. The play stations, the toys, and everything inside the playhouse were neat and clean. I guess this is because it's still new but I do hope that they maintain this neatness for the kids' safety.
Some of the play stations were also new to Zayn which he enjoyed. He spent more time in the ball pit which even me, as an adult, also enjoyed. I loved that it was unlike the other playhouses that had colorful balls. Instead they only had white and blue as you can see in the photos.
As I work full time, I don't get much time to play with Zayn but I do cuddle and play with him every night when I come home even just for a short while. Zayn is becoming a smart and witty kid and though he gets to play with his classmates at school, I also want to let him go play and explore outside the school whether it may be an indoor or an outdoor playground. Playhouses may be located inside the malls, like Playnation among others, but it's still a great outlet for kids like Zayn to let their creativity and imagination take off.
