Life has been very busy lately that I haven't kept up with my Staycation Series as the last time I had one was already months ago. Well, good news, since you're reading this, it means I have finally went on a staycation which happened just a couple of weeks ago after my unexpected trip to Sagada (I will be talking about this on another post soon). Anyway, I had an extra day after the trip so I booked myself a room through Airbnb and spent one night at Hotel Snow Angeles alone.
From Dau Terminal in Mabalacat, Pampanga, I took a Grab car going to Hotel Snow Angeles. I was amazed when I saw the hotel when I arrived as it was my first time to be staying at a container hotel. Whoever thought of converting shipping containers to a hotel is a genius!
Entrance
I was searching for a cheap hotel near Clark Airport and Hotel Snow Angeles was the first option that appeared on my Airbnb search results. I scrolled down to see more options but I just knew it had to be Hotel Snow so I instantly booked it. The hotel has three stories and judging by just the hotel entrance, I knew I made the right decision. I arrived around 2PM and although it was indicated on Airbnb that check-in time is after 3PM, I'm glad that I was nicely accommodated by their staff. A Php 1,500 incidental deposit is required upon check-in and will be returned 100% upon check-out if there are no damages or lost hotel items such as key cards, TV remote, etc.
Cafe
A chic, little cafe is situated just across the hotel's front desk and their coffee is actually good. I wanted to try their cakes but they weren't available that time. Maybe next time!
Studio A Type Room
I booked the Studio A Type room because it was just me. This room type is perfect for solo and couple travelers. The room had a Cable TV, mini ref, split type A/C, and water heater. All rooms are secured with a key card system. I was also amazed that they had this small entry way before actually going inside the room. This small entryway had a motion sensor where it'll light up if it senses any movement just like the houses and apartments I have seen on K-Dramas! It was amazing to experience it firsthand! Haha.
The room size was just perfect and I loved the interior design. Although there was a piece of paper bag from a convenience store left by the previous guest and was probably not cleaned up, I didn't mind. I didn't bother complaining about it as well. I simply threw it in the trash bag and moved on. Haha. Other than that, I had no issues with my room.

I rested inside my room for an hour and went outside to check with the front desk if the massage therapist was already available since I badly wanted a massage that time. At 4PM, I went up to the third floor and went inside the spa. I was just so happy they had a spa and that I didn't have to go outside and look for one. The massage therapist who handled me was very nice and to be honest, it was the best massage I have ever had. An hour of body massage at Hotel Snow Angeles is Php 450 but they had a promo that time and only paid Php 360. Perfect timing!
Pool Area
After my massage, I went around the hotel to take photos and how I wished I brought a swimming attire with me so I could have enjoyed the pool. The amenities at Hotel Snow Angeles are really good considering that their room rates are affordable. I got the room on Airbnb for Php 1,129 and I have to say it's very sulit already with its nice amenities. So if you're traveling somewhere and your flights are via Clark Airport, I highly recommend you stay at Hotel Snow Angeles. You won't regret it, I promise!
