Formerly known as Sprockets, Sprocketeer Cafe officially opens today, September 25, with a new name (of course), a more vibrant brand and a fresh visage. And I am totally in love with the cafe's new look which resembles a modern diner with retro vibes accented with cool hues of azure and warm brown tones.
A little trivia about the cafe's new name: the term, Sprocketeer, was coined from "sprocket photography", which refers to a type of photography that exposes "sprocket" holes along the edges of the film. This classic craft was what inspired the bright diner concept of Sprocketeer Cafe that aims to spring in inspiration, arouse creativity, and yield playfulness to its customers.
It's nice that they opted for an open kitchen as it provides us, the customers, an open view of how our food and drinks are passionately made.
And see those retro diner inspired chairs and tables? Very well thought of. Clap clap. And that makes a nice Instagrammable corner, don't you think? Their interior designer definitely did an amazing job!
