It's amazing how in just a span of few months, a lot has changed at Cebu Safari & Adventure Park. The first time I went there I was with Zayn and it was mainly a sightseeing trip. And just recently, I was given the chance to go back, together with my Cebu Bloggers Society family, to try their newest adventure rides, check out their newest attractions, and be one of the first to see the Safari Camp. After reading this post, I hope it'll help you decide to go to Cebu Safari and Adventure Park too. Because these are definitely things you should not miss.
White Lion Safari
Meet the King of the Wild! At the White Lion Safari, you get to enjoy a 15-minute ride via an enclosed safari truck and see the white lions all the way from France and Germany. The White Lion Safari is open on Wednesdays to Sundays and Holidays from 9AM to 4PM.Sorry for the very low quality photo. Took this using my phone camera and zoomed it because they were too far away from the safari truck.
ATV Adventure
Level up your Cebu Safari and Adventure Park experience by availing the All-Terrain Vehicle ride. You can choose from the three different trails for each level: Experience Trail (15-minute trail course), Adventure Trail (30-minute trail course), and Extreme Trail (60-minute trail course). We took the Experience Trail (for beginners) and though it wasn't my first time to ride an ATV, I was still very nervous because my first time almost killed me. Haha. I thought the trail was easy but boy, it was very challenging. Even more challenging than my first time. The trail was muddy because it rained moments before and it had blind curves and steep downhill paths. Every ATV adventure is accompanied by the park's guide and I appreciate how they really value the guests' safety. I went off course and almost stumbled on the last downhill path and my fellow bloggers behind me were stuck because of me but good thing I was more composed this time and got back to the trail safely. Sorry, guys! Haha.
ATV Ride Rates:
- Experience Trail (Beginner) - Php 500 (Welcome Pavilion) / Php 600 (Base Camp)
- Adventure Trail (Intermediate) - Php 700 (Welcome Pavilion) / Php 800 (Base Camp)
- Extreme Trail (Advanced) - Php 800 (Welcome Pavilion) / Php 1000 (Base Camp)
Zip Line
The Zip Line adventure is nothing new to me but what made my experience more exciting is the fact that Cebu Safari and Adventure Park's Zip Line is the Philippines' second longest zip line which spans 1.3 kilometers and one of the highest zip lines at 671 meters ASL. This is a one-way trip only but another exciting adventure ride is awaiting for you at the end point.Zip Line Adventure Rate:
- Php 400 (Welcome Pavilion) / Php 450 (Base Camp)
Sky Bike
After the Zip Line adventure, just one floor down of the same building, the Sky Bike adventure awaits for you to take on. It's not my first time to try the Sky Bike either but I was excited to try this extreme activity again. I mean, cycling along a cable at 150 meters ASL, doesn't that sound awesome?Sky Bike Adventure Rate:
- Php 400 (Welcome Pavilion) / Php 450 (Base Camp)
Giant Swing
The Giant Swing is the newest adventure ride at Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. This is yet another extreme activity that will surely get your adrenaline pumping. To be honest, I was iffy about trying this adventure. But I thought, I can't always give in to my fears, so I changed my mind. It was me and Ate Angel who tried this adventure ride first. I was very nervous my hands were shaking and ice cold. After our safety harnesses were locked, we were pulled up. We reached the fourth marking point of the pole and we heard the staff shouting to hold tight as we will be released at the count of three.I closed my eyes, and then, BAM! We were going down sooooo fast it really felt as if everything inside my body was going to burst. Ate Angel and I were not able to scream at first because we both held our breaths. Haha. Our blogger friends laughed at us because we were really silent. Our screams went out later when we were already swinging back and forth. This adrenaline-pumping activity is scary but you will miss half of your life if you don't try this. Hahaha.

Hello, I have read your article and it was very informative. However, I have a question, what does base camp mean? as it has different prices. Also, for the zipline, what ride awaits on the other end to get back? do we have to pay for it? Is there a maximum weight limit?
ReplyDeleteThank you! Love your blog, hopefully you'll reply :D
Hi! So sorry for the late response. The base camp is located up in the park. The rates are cheaper at the welcome pavilion maybe because they want you to book as soon as you enter the park. Haha. At the other end, the sky bike adventure awaits you. Lastly, I'm not sure about the max weight limit though. It would be best if you contact them directly :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for dropping by!
