Going up north was our agenda two months ago. This time, we're going down south. I randomly typed in Moalboal in Agoda's search bar and found this gem called Pescadores Seaview Suites. I immediately booked a Standard Garden Room and God knows how anxious I was for the day to come because I badly needed a breather.
After I made the booking, I called the resort to confirm if they indeed allow kids. Of course, I included it in our booking but there's nothing wrong with double checking everything, right? Fortunately, they do allow kids.
Three days before our trip, I received a message from the resort informing us of Moalboal's travel guidelines. Moalboal currently requires all tourists to drop by the Moalboal Tourism Office to secure a tourism pass and pay for the environmental fee of Php 25 per person before checking in. All you need to show is your booking confirmation and a valid ID.
We didn't bother looking at the maps because I confidently assumed that Pescadores Seaview Suites was located in the famous Panagsama strip. And lo and behold, my confidence got us lost. But that's what makes it an adventure, right? Sometimes we have to get lost to find the right direction. Chos! So we asked for directions from a few locals we passed by and a few minutues later, we have finally arrived.
Reception Area
Before checking in, our temperatures were checked and we logged our names on their logbook. I wish Philippines had a centralized and automated system for this, would you agree? But anyway, checking in was a breeze. All the staff we met were so kind and friendly. We also paid an incidental deposit of Php 1000 which was returned to us when we checked out the next day.
Playground
Pescadores Seaview Suites has a playground in front of their reception area. However, most of their playground equipments were for ages younger than Zayn and this swing was the only one that would do for him. Hahaha.
Superior Seaview Room
The Standard Garden Room cost us Php 2680+ inclusive of an extra bed that was automatically added when I made the booking for two adults and one child. Upon check in, the front desk officer offered us a room upgrade to a Superior Seaview Room and we only had to add Php 170-ish. So of course, we took the offer, and we were happy we took it. Our room was huge and how I wished we could return the extra bed and have the extra bed payment refunded since the bed was already big enough for us. Lol. The room was also sparkling clean and smelled so good the moment we entered. Their bathroom was sparkling clean and spacious too. And to be honest, out of all the resorts we have been to, Pescadores Seaview Suites had the best accommodation so far. Even Zayn had the same remark.Room features:

Our booking entitled us a free breakfast. We gave them our choices upon check in and specified the time we wanted it to be served the next day. And they did serve it at the time we specified. Their customer service is superb, I have to say.
There weren't much people in the resort, to our delight. And our room was only a few steps away from the swimming pool. And I have to say that the resort is very well-maintained. There are two swimming pools in Pescadores Seaview Suites. One pool has a depth of 4th and the other pool—the infinity pool—is 5ft deep.

Our booking also entitled us free usage of their transparent kayak for 15 minutes. The ever nice front desk officer advised us to avail it on our first day since the next day was forecasted to have a low tide and we might miss the chance of experiencing the kayak adventure. And so we did. We approached the staff in charge and I asked how much the kayak rental was. She said it costs Php 100 for every 15 minutes, so we added 15 more minutes so we can enjoy it longer.
Pescadores Seaview Suites has a restaurant but since we don't go to Moalboal often, we took the chance to dine at one of the restaurants near the Panagsama strip. They also allow guests to bring their own food but we're not sure if they have corkage fees though. Overall, our overnight stay was one for the books. It was short but we definitely had much more than a breather.
