A not-so-secret hideout at the Common Ground Coffee Bar

"Where do you want to go?" A question that would, most of the time, take me aback. Good thing a friend of a friend shared a video of this little café that caught our attention. So I said, "Can we go to Common Ground Coffee Bar?"




The coffee bar is actually by the famous specialty skate shop and sneaker store, Common Ground. It is located at the second floor of their store in The Greenery, Mabolo.



The moment we went upstairs, the Common Ground Coffee Bar exuded coziness and tranquil. I said to myself, "This coffee spot is perfect." There were only two people when we arrived but they were already about to go.

We ordered two of their signature coffee drinks: Campfire and Kori Kohi. The campfire drink is made with espresso, chocolate, milk, and topped with roasted marshmallows. The kori kohi is the famous iced coffee cubes, espresso, and milk combo.



We had the place to ourselves that day. It was a weekday so I guess that explains it. But yeah, I'm glad we found a not-so secret hideout at the Common Ground Coffee Bar.
